Compass Montessori, Golden, Colorado

This is a 128.6 kW project distributed across two separate school facilities on the same campus.  RSBF financed the project using a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with the school.  Electricity generation for the first full year of service is projected at 172,000 kWh.  The project, which went into commercial operation on September 1, 2011, is projected to save the School $677,000 in avoided costs compared with carbon-fueled electricity over its useful lifetime.  Compass Montessori is a charter school attached to the Jefferson County School District.  It was founded in 1997.

Engineering, Procurement and Construction on the project was performed by Martifer Solar USA, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California.
