Wings over the Rockies Museum

Renewable Social Benefit Funds, L3C (“RSBF”) has been awarded the solar renewable energy project by Wings over the Rockies Museum (the “Museum”).  The Museum is installing a solar photovoltaic power system on their roof.  The system size is 109.2 kW, and the project is estimated to produce 137,000 ac of power in the first year. The Museum is located on the former grounds of Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado. The museum, which opened in 1994 is housed in the 40,000 square foot Hangar #1 built in 1939.  The museum preserves the history of Lowry AFB’s operations from 1938 to 1994.

Martifer Solar, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California with their factory located in Oliveira de Frades, Portugal, is the EPC contractor and is responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of the project.
